The history of Motorsport Hobbies started when the owner, Mike Carter, an avid hobbyist had a dream of owning a hobby shop. "As a kid, I enjoyed hours of fun racing slot cars on a home track and wanted to bring this excitement to people of all ages", states Mike.  With the help of his family the decision to bring a hobby shop to Casa Grande became a reality in September of 2005.

Once we opened our doors, we found a need for more then just a Slot Car facility, but more of a true hometown hobby shop. Since our opening we have expanded into the ever so popular world of Remote Control. Within the first year we were able to expand our product line with remote control airplanes, helicopters and rockets. In year two we expanded on product lines with models, train & more.
